Search Engine Optimization Over Search Engine Marketing

Internet is remaining still very young for many of us. New development and technologies are exists and is appearing at an extraordinary rate. SEs are the main link for common man and internet. This is why there has always been a competition between the websites to be on the top of the results of search engine optimization. This is why the search engine results have been always tried to bring in favor with the use of SEO. SEO truly differs from SEM. SEM stands for Search Engine Marketing. This is also a very necessary part of being in the internet business. As we all know the market is big and huge in internet rather it is global so there is chance for everyone and every type of business. This is the reason for many to come forward and use internet market for SEM to bring huge business.

For many of us still the concept of SEM and SEO is not clear and we generally consider them to be the same. Bit they are far from being so. SEM is rather a board term and it is a short form of everything that can be done through the use of internet in your business. Rather we use SEO to get SEM. SEO puts us on the top of the SE results and that provides us the market to research and makes sales pitch. So there is huge difference between the two.

There are some aspects that can stand apart from the realm of SEO includes,

• Paid Inclusion
This is a simple practice which is done by paying a SE of a directory to add a site to its data base and rather immediately it does so. This is faster that leaving it on the search engine spider to find the site on its own. There are some search engines also that only take the paid inclusion and show them as results. For many it is present as an option. If you are willing to pay your new site will soon be in the result of the SE and if you do not it will take substantial time to get position on its own. This will also allow you option to make frequent changes in the site to make it stay on the top slot.

• Traditional Ads
This involves the placing of the paid advertisement on search engine pages. This is called as SERP's. Normally these ads appear based on keywords entered and keywords present in your site. The charges are taken on the number of times the ad appears.

• Pay Per Click (PPC)
PPC is very simple enough on its looks. They are like text. PPC ad campaigns are totally controlled by advertiser and hence here you work as decider on which word you ads come and you decide the pay out also. This is a place where you will need to spend a lot of money in the pay out in order to get the perfect work done.

These are SEM campaigns and they are incomplete without SEO or you may call all of them tries to make SEO but they are all SEM's only which is far from being SEO.
