India, with its unlimited wealth of history & culture, has always acted like the true magnet for a foreign tourist. And since the vast & diverse country has innumerable holiday destinations, even the natives feel spoilt for choice when selecting a vacation corner. Chennai, in south India, is one of the 4 metro cities and an extremely exhilarating seaside town. What makes this city stand out is its ever-stretching beaches, the concoction of beautiful cuisines, the pristine Hindu temples and some luxurious Chennai hotels.
Though the city has a handful of beautiful beaches, the Marina Beach stands out for its never-ending shore line which makes it the 2nd longest beach in the world. There are some sedate temples too, like the Ashtalakshmi Temple which is thronged by both pilgrims and tourists. Churches and forts also woo travelers from time to time. Elliot’s Beach is a popular hangout zone while the Ice House is a modern day attraction.
To add to it, there are all kinds of Chennai hotels which make your stay friendly as well as economically feasible.
If you travel towards the west through rail or air, then you shall come across what the world calls as ‘Mumbai’. It is a vibrant city giving you a kaleidoscopic view of human life. Mumbai is a city which never gives you a dull moment. Depending on your taste, you can check out any kind of attraction. Be it the temples or the mosque, caves or the malls, theatres or monuments, sanctuaries or museums- the city has it all. Food is also big in this part of the world. And the Mumbai hotels and restaurants do not give you a chance to complain of anything! On the contrary, you will be left licking your fingers in utter bliss of the taste bud!
After finishing up with your Mumbai tour, head towards the north and you shall find yourself coming face to face with India’s capital city of Delhi. The city also has a rocking nightlife with many Delhi hotels setting up the right ambience for the party animals and the alcohol-addicts. The food is good too especially the street snacks! But the restaurants and the top Delhi hotels can serve you global cuisines as well. Exploring Delhi will be a learning experience as well!
