Things to Experience at Tamil Nadu

Every place has something to boast of – but you will find few places like Tamil Nadu, which has a lot to boast of. For example, if you wanted to bask in the calm and peace of a hill station, then Ooty would be the perfect place for you. With towering pine trees, misty mountains and deep green valleys, Ooty or Udagamandalam is a place where you would wish to lose yourself. Explore the tiny winding lanes, go boating on the Ooty Lake or try to catch a glimpse of an elusive deer in the Deer Park. You’ll find that falling gracefully into the arms of nature is part and parcel of Ooty tourism. But Ooty isn’t the only place that Tamil Nadu tourism has to show off for beauty. Kodaikanal has earned just as much renown. The Kodai Lake is a delight, with a beautiful vista at every turn. The Bryant Park and Chettiar Park are both excellent places for you to take a walk or just to sit down with your loved ones and have a picnic. But the highlight of Kodaikanal tourism is without a doubt Coaker’s Walk. If the conditions are just right, you can see your shadow cast on a cloud and a halo around your head.

But if stunning architecture is what attracts you more – then the best place to visit is Chennai. The British bastion for a long time, it still holds some beautiful architecture as a relic of their rule. The buildings along the Marina beach, in fact, are quite spectacular – like the Presidency College, the State House and Chepauk Palace. In fact, when you’re a part of Chennai tourism, make sure that you visit Marina Beach – it holds the distinction of being the second largest beach in India. You’ll also be amused by the juggling and magic acts that you can find at the beach. Another stunning architecture is that of the Tirupati temple. There are a lot of temples in Tamil Nadu. But there is more than just one thing that is special to the Tirupati temple. It is the second richest temple in the world, and the most visited as well. The temple has a gold plated spire or ‘gopuram’ called the Ananda Nilayam – meaning ‘the abode of happiness’. The golden spire is the roof of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Is it any wonder that Tirupati tourism is so very popular?

With such wonderful experiences waiting for you at Tamil Nadu, why hesitate to visit? Come and have a lovely time!
