Titillating Tamil Nadu Tours

For the bone-weary city dweller, Tamil Nadu has no end of treats. A typical Tamil Nadu tour would leave you delighted and wanting more. From a newly wedded honey-mooning couple to a large, joyful family to a dedicated devotee, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this magical place. The honeymooning couples generally opt for either Ooty tourism or Kodaikanal tourism. Both are hills stations with large lakes for you to go boating on. There are lush green tea gardens that you can take a leisurely stroll about. Tiny, winding lanes that take you far away from the stress of your everyday life as possible dot both of these places. For those more energetic, trekking is always an option as well. Even horse-back riding is open, if you should want it. Coaker’s walk in Kodaikanal – the small path that leads to a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding meadows – is not to be missed. You could also stay up late and enjoy the sight of stars and distant constellations when you visit the Solar Physical Observatory in Kodaikanal.

The Rose and the Thread gardens in Ooty are lush green places where you can see multitudes of flowers. You could also visit the Deer Park in Ooty, and enjoy the sight of deers frolicking in a carefree manner. Though, the park is only partially open for viewers. But if it isn’t nature but temples that you want to admire, then Madurai tourism or the perennially popular Tirupati tourism might be for you. Madurai, more than 2,500 years old, is a city that has withstood the test of time. It is renowned for the Meenakshi temple, which is the second largest temple in Tamil Nadu. The architectural marvel was built as far back as the 6th century BC. It lies in the very heart of the city, with the city itself being built around it. During April, you can even see the re-enactment of the marriage between Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareshwar.

Tirupati is has earned world renown, and millions flock towards it perennially. The Balaji temple also known as the Shri Venkateshwara temple, is situated on the highest of the seven hills in Tirupati. Tirupati itself is a small, quaint town, filled with a rustic form of natural beauty. There are also many other temples that dot the small town, each with a legend of its own. You could even indulge in the unusual act of devotion that is found here and shave off the hair on your head. These are but some of the highlights of Tamil Nadu tourism. But make sure that you don’t miss out on any of these sights when you look through Tamil Nadu tourism packages.
