Glades Shopping Centre- This huge shopping centre has 108 stores all together. The opening times for this shopping centre are, Mon-Sat: 9am-6pm, Sun: 11am-5pm and Bank Holidays 10am-5pm. There are plenty of useful facilities in the Glades Shopping Centre. These are Public toilets, Disabled toilets and ATMs. Throughout the centre, there are over 15 restaurants and cafes, e.g. Costa Coffee, McDonalds and Millie's Cookies. There are a variety of department and high street stores in the Glade Shopping Centre; some are Accessorize, Carphone Warehouse, Pineapple, The Perfume Shop and Vodafone.
The Mall Shopping Centre- This shopping centre was built in 1960. It has many of the well known retailers, for example, Office Angels, Argos, Poundland and Sportsworld. It is situated between The Glades Shopping Centre and the High Street. The Mall Shopping Centre has its very own car park. This shopping Centre is peaceful as it is smaller than the Glade Shopping Centre.
In Bromley there are also many markets in and around the town centre, where you can pick up bargains. They're not hard to spot.
As well as places to shop, you always need to find a place to park. Throughout Bromley there are several areas where you can park, in and around the town centre, so you shouldn't have any trouble what so ever. If you donít travel by park, public transport in Bromley town centre is great. There are also two train stations in Bromley, Bromley South railway station and Bromley North railway station.
After a long day of shopping, I find that itís nice to have something to eat/drink to restore your energy. I recommend Café Rouge, which is only a couple of minutes away from the main shopping centres and the High Street. There is a variety of different French foods. It is open every day from 9am-11pm. Café Rouge is well known throughout Britain.
I also recommend the Restaurant Caligvlette. You can enjoy dinner while being entertained at the same time. There are a variety of different dishes, from Mediterranean to Vegetarian.
Another of my favourites is The Crown. This restaurant is situated 5 minutes away from the town centre. The Crown is known for selling some of the best food in Bromley. Itís a rather casual place and the prices are average, £25 and under. It is open all days of the week from midday until quite late. On Plaistow Grove, there is free parking available everyday from 2pm. For further information about The Crown, call 020 8466 1313. If you use satellite navigation to get there, the post code is BR1 3PA.
Shopping and eating in Bromley is an enjoyable experience. Now that you know where to look, hopefully you will find it as much of a pleasurable experience as I did.
