Grow taller in a healthy and natural way

Being tall has so many advantages and thats a truism. No one can deny that height can affect ones physical presence. Some even say that the taller the person is, the more attractive he or she is. However, not all people are fortunate enough to be blessed with height. Heredity, race, and physical health are just some of the factors that affect the height growth of a human being.

To be attractive and tall is probably everyone's wish. So why let these factors hinder you from having more height than you have now? It is never too late for a determined man, so pull out more inches of height from your bones by exerting more effort. Here are some ideas to grow taller without destructive results. Proper diet is the first consideration. Our growth hormones can be deactivated by fats and carbohydrates therefore too much of these can affect the development of our height. Foods like burgers and chips that are very fatty, often lead to obesity, which then makes a person look shorter. Caffeine, junk foods, alcohol and soft drinks should also be left out from your diet because they also may hinder growth. Calcium is a very important component for increasing growth. Drinks that are high in sugar and phosphorous should also be avoided because they may cause secretion through urine.

Health supplements also make a good ingredient to induce height growth. Our bones become dense and thick if supplemented with enough calcium. Supplements such as vitamin D and C also helps absorb calcium. They also help in absorbing phosphates and manganese necessary for bone development. These supplements therefore play a very important role in our bone growth. On the other hand, supplements like Glucosamine and chondroitin help in building up bones and cartilage to increase height. If taken in liquid form, these supplements allow fast absorption, so you can drink them along with water after each meal.

Regular exercise also makes a good addition to these factors to help you grow taller. Adrenalin, lactate, nerve acidity and nitric oxide are increased with a minimum of 10 minutes forceful exercise. This induces the release of growth hormone during the exercise period as well as during the rest periods. Drinking enough water while exercising is also important in order to avoid dehydration, which reduces the production of growth hormone. The use of equipment during exercise can help proper performance of knee and spine to help increase height. For people who have passed the vertical growth age, knee exercises are good to encourage growth. But still, stretching exercises are by far most efficient way to grow taller.

Lastly, adequate sleep should also be taken into the account. One hour after we sleep at night, the growth hormone that is freed by the pituitary gland gets to its peak. Therefore, in order to augment height, sound sleep of 8-9 hours per day is vital and should always be practiced. A dark warm room with a comfortable bed and mattress helps induce deep sleep.
