Controlling your mind holds the key to getting out of the panic attacks disorder

Were you thinking that medications are available for the treatment of the panic attacks?Well,you are wrong.No medication will help you get out of this disorder.As the article title says,it is all about how well you control your mind.Unfortunately,this is not simple as it sounds when you read it.Controlling the mind?How do you think you can achieve me.I am sure you are perplexed about this fact.The best thing to do at situations of distress is to remain calm.The more you try to increase the fight response to the imminent danger,the more panicked you will become.This will be the mistake everybody does when they are first confronted with the panic attacks disorder.But as time passes on,they would realize that the only way to control the panic attack is to remain calm and not exhibit a fight or flight response.

Stay calm instead of exhibiting a fight or flight response:

Now let us assume that you are going to get the panic attack in a few seconds.Possible reactions by the panic attack sufferer may be one among the following items in the list:

=>the sufferer will stand up not withstanding intense anxiety and palpitations.This is why i did when i had the first experience of an anxiety attack.I was terrified and completely confused about what was happening to me,

=>the sufferer will stop whatever he is doing and go out.Avoiding the job and staying disconnected to everything and everyone is the most common response,

=>the panic attack patient will try to fight the response.This will be the biggest mistake done by the sufferer in the entire course of getting out of this disorder.Like i mentioned earlier,the more you try to fight it,the more panic you get.

What really needs to be done by the sufferer:

=>the person must try to calm down and the only motive should be to stop the palpitations,

=>deep breathing will be a powerful tool for the patients.It is better to learn more about deep breathing.

=>Instead of procrastinating what you where you were doing,stop the job and sit patiently.Procrastination will make you feel that you are losing concentration,skill and productivity and will lead to lowest self-esteem in the long-run.Never do that.Most people tend to avoid problems.But instead you have to face it and solve it.Solving the problem gives you the answer and this is what is required for every anxiety attack sufferer.
