Places to Enjoy a Cigar

You will need to go out into the world and explore what it has to offer if you truly want to find a good place to enjoy your cigars. The more time you spend outside, the more likely you are to find different smoking spots. You should be looking for quiet, seclude places. Find a place where people don't go

After you have discovered some spots that you think are pretty calm, spend some extra time there once or twice a week, just to make sure no one surprises you with their presence when you're trying to relax. If you are seeing that people actually walk through this area a lot, then find a new area.

If you think you've found a good outdoor area to smoke, then go ahead and start smoking your cigar. Be sure that you aren't near anything dry that could catch on fire - you don't want to accidentally burn down a forest because you didn't take the time to look for dry brush or leaves.

If you're enjoying yourself at your new private cigar smoking spot, consider telling a few friends about it. Bring some chairs and make it an event. Smoking cigars outdoors is about as manly as it gets. Just don't let the wind bother you.

If you'd rather smoke indoors, then you need to find yourself a cigar club, smokeshop, or lounge. With the internet, it's easy to find such things in your local area. Just do a quick search on your favorite search engine and see what comes up.

You may find that some clubs or lounges require you to pay a fee to get in. There are other places that don't require a fee, but expect you to buy a cigar instead. It's kind of like purchasing a ticket, but the ticket is your cigar. If you're enjoying yourself, consider bringing some friends.

If you want a more private setting, it's possible to build a mini lounge in your backyard, or even smoke in your own home. Smoke damage is permanent, however, so if you're going to smoke somewhere that you don't want the smell to stick, you will need to invest in an air filter or three.

Most bars and restaurants don't allow people to smoke indoors anymore, thanks to smoking bans throughout the U.S. You shouldn't walk into one of those establishments expecting to be able to smoke a cigar. That's where your new found smoking happy places come into play. Now go find yours.

Great Drinks to Have With a Cigar
Soda and cigars is a surprisingly fantastic combination. Try smoking your favorite cigar, and then smoking it while drinking a good carbonated soda. For whatever reason, soda magnifies the taste of a cigar. Try pairing a light cigar with a light soda, such as a carbonated lemon or orange soda pop. If you enjoy smoking heavier, full bodied cigars, you may want to try pairing a soda that is a little darker, like a pepsi or coke. If you enjoy pipe tobacco cigars, you will want to complement...

Picking and Enjoying a Cigar
An aficionado must choose their own cigar. You pick what clothes to wear in the morning, so you should have no problem finding a good cigar. This doesn't mean it's a bad idea or bad form to ask another aficionado for a cigar recommendation, only that a real connoisseur wouldn't need a recommendation in the first place. I read some advice that stated a person with a roundish face shouldn't smoke a long, thin cigar, and a person with a thin face shouldn't smoke a round, thick cigar. The cigar...

There are many ways for you to accomplish the task of transporting a cigar. One of the best ways is with a cigar caddy portable humidor. This is a specially made box that will keep your cigars fresh, and also safe. This portable humidor has specially made foam inside that will let you hold your cigars without bending them. One problem with the cigar caddy is that it can be bulky. That doesn't matter too much if you're going on a trip and want to sneak a few cigars into you luggage, but if...

Cigar Cutter Knowledge
One of my favorite things about cigar smoking are the cool tools that come along with it. The most famous tool being the cigar cutter. Millions of people enjoy premium cigars every day. We enjoy the taste, the aroma and the feeling of relaxation they provide as the delicate smoke leaves our mouth. How to Store Your Cigars
The first thing to think about when preparing to store your cigars is to decide how big of a humidor you will need. You may only have a small collection of cigars, and therefore a room sized humidor would be unnecessary. For a small collection, you would need a desk humidor or similar. If you do have a large collection, then a walk in humidor might just be for you. Different humidors are good for different people. If you only ever have one cigar at a time, then you should invest in a cigar...
