One of the worst upsets a person can experience physically, is the feeling of being nauseated. As this problem can appear at any time many people are caught off guard and then they wonder how to get rid of nausea. Nausea can be caused by many different things like stress, pregnancy, dairy foods or disease. A pharmacist can suggest an anti-emetic medication which will help you recover from this condition. Many individuals just do not feel well enough to go to a pharmacy, but do not despair, because many home remedies will help.

One of the herbs most used in this condition, is ginger and it is very effective. This herb comes in many forms and it does not matter which way a person ingests it, whether in a tea, chewy sweet, biscuit form or as ginger ale. Combined with peppermint, another herb which helps with stomach upsets, it can even be more effective.

In the case of morning sickness during pregnancy, one of the best ways to curb nausea is by chewing on dry crackers or plain biscuits. Just about 3-4 will do the trick if you just lie down and take about ten minutes to rest. After that, get up slowly and you will be surprised at the difference it will make.

Basic clear chicken flavoured soup with not too many ingredients to it and if you feel to horrible to cook, canned chicken soup will be fine. This remedy has a wonderful way to just settle that stomach down quickly.

The human body has a way of making an alarm when it needs rest and relaxation. Feeling nauseated is one of those alarms and stress can be a very big cause of it. If a person simply takes 15 minutes to go somewhere quiet and peaceful and have a little nap, it will definitely make a difference and answer the question of how to get rid of nausea.
