Home Is Where Your Heart Is

We barely notice things that are there until the time that they are gone. We forgot how things can be so important until we have lost them altogether. It is a sad fate for one who realizes too late the things that they have failed to take into account. We think that things, places, or even people will always be there for you, but the truth is, all things are temporary. All things will come to pass. Still, there some realities that is not so easily changed. And to these things, we are supposed to cling to. One of these things is our family.

Families are made. People can be of the same blood, but can still not be considered as family. While some others, though not related or of kin, can be as closely knit and even more so than those who are related by blood, still they form their own homes. Even if the homes are not made of walls and of roofs. There is a saying that goes, 'Home is where the heart is.' And I believe it is so. There is real estate or houses that are for sale, but of homes for sale? The two words are a bit interchangeable to some, but there is really a distinction. A house is the physical building that a family resides, while a home, is that place where those people stay or are. A home might not be as luxurious as a big house, but it is undoubtedly much warmer than a five - star hotel.

It is too often the case that we fail to see the merits of being in a family. It is so easy to see the faults in another person and judge accordingly. It is so hard to understand why a mother keeps on fussing how your hair keeps on standing up or your father's grim exterior fails to give off any concern. Still, it is too true that we almost never realize the real warmth that is felt when you are in your own home. When we are away from our families it feels like there is a chunk or a piece of our heart or being has been taken from us. And it is only by returning that we feel complete in that set.

Still, sometimes, there is no family to go back to. And the longing for one is supplied by various behaviors far belittling what should be really done. Forming one's own family in the stead of what was never there can be sometimes hard, but the creation of one is a masterpiece to behold. Having people beside you, even if they weren't blood related, even if they are merely friends, can be such a point to the mind that it gives you more reason to keep an existence. It is the longing for friendship or companionship that brings warmth to our cold hearts. It is our longing for love, which builds a family and makes it to be a home. Home is where your heart is.

Pointers In Choosing A Real Estate Agent
