Four Ways to Use Calendar Printing as a Marketing Tool

Calendar printing can be a very useful marketing tool. Even in today’s digital age, many people still use a paper calendar to keep track of important dates and events. You can choose to give your calendars away for free or you can sell them for a small price. The trick is finding the right niche for your calendars, as the competition is steep. Here is a look at some of the ways that you can use calendar printing as a marketing method for your business.

To highlight sales periods

If your company hosts regular sales each year, then you can use calendar printing as a way to give your clients insight into when the best deals can be found. You will just want to find a way to highlight the days that sales will be held. Be careful not to fill in the entire square for those dates, as your customers may still want to pencil in their own appointments and notes on those days, and you do not want to interfere with the usefulness of the calendar.

To highlight regular appointments

By the same token, if your company works on the basis of regular appointments, then you can put these in for the customers as well, making the calendar both personal and useful for your valued clients. Some printers may allow you to personalize these during calendar printing, or you can create separate stickers to apply to the important date yourself as you obtain new customers. For example, mechanics can give away a calendar with the next scheduled oil change already marked, a dentist can pencil in a reminder to schedule that six month checkup, and the hair stylist can put in a monthly reminder to call to make an appointment for a trim.

You can offer a special coupon every month or every week as you prefer. You may choose to give something away for free or offer a special discount. Be sure to have the layout of your calendar created in such a way that removing a coupon does not impair the functionality of the calendar or the image for the following month. Making it so that the coupons are only valid for the month they are printed on will help prevent someone from using all of them at once and keep people coming back into your business.

Calendar printing allows you to get something useful into the hands of your customers. Since calendars are generally good for an entire year, they work as excellent marketing tools to keep your clients coming back to you again and again.
