India is the world leader in fashion education, a huge amount of students enrolling in fashion courses every year, This character is reflected in the wider industry.
India Fashion Week is itself influential, widely recognized as one of the big fashion festivals and a vital showcase for the India industry and talent.
Fashion and politics are inevitably linked. The fashion world continues to be a powerful social, political, and cultural commentator, but fashion has always be with us. As long as people wear clothes and accessories, they will consciously or unconsciously impact each other by the way they dress. The connection between fashion and soft power will, therefore, remain innate and enduring. And fashion will continue to project India influence as well as contribute to its economy.
