Is High School Education Enough Or Do We Need More Than That

Well, now you just finished your high school education. You have had enough of all the quadratic equations, Albert Einstein theories and memorising all the exact dates for history lessons; not forgetting all sorts of projects you did to help you with your marks. On top of that the pressure of scoring well in your exams. Usually students with good memorising ability are the ones that pass with flying colours. This is not a new thing for many actually. It is how our education system is. Your answers must be exactly similar with the contents of your text books or any other notes given by your teacher. There is no such thing as answering in your own words, although the meaning is still the same. Enough of studying one might wonder.

So now you are interested to earn money. You want to make a mark in this world. Maybe a few weeks after you finished your studies you will relax at home. You know, try to cool down your brain, give 'him' the vacation that he deserves. After that, you will start with part-time jobs. You know, like working in restaurants: taking down orders, washing the dishes and becoming a cashier. Although the work is very taxing but because it is your first time working, you tend to be excited having money in your own hand. Later on, without realizing it, you will be working there your whole lifetime. You might get bored with the same routine every day and decide to switch jobs.

Then you realize that no matter where you work, the requirements and responsibilities are somewhat similar. Your employers cannot give you an increase in position or salary because of your educational background. Nowadays, diploma is considered equal as high school exams whereas having a degree is like a norm. Things are not the same as the 19th century anymore. The competition to strive for the best is getting tougher day by day. Now you must decide for yourself whether you should continue studies or just finishing your high school is more than enough.
