If you want potential buyers to be interested in your product or join your organization you have to offer them value. By value, I am referring to something that you can offer them that is useful to your prospects such as education or tools that will help them increase their sales in their own business. In this blog I will give you suggestions on how to make yourself more desirable by just offering value.
Yesterday my 10 year old was cleaning her hermit crab's tank (not a fan of the hermit crab). She has to add this moist dirt to the tank. While making it she says, "Free mud for $100!". The free mud ended up in the sink which is probably going to cost me $100 to unclog it but that's besides the point. In network marketing, if you offer something for free, it should be free.
Why would you give someone something for free? Readers Love free stuff! Who doesn't?! If you would like someone to join your organization, whether as an affiliate or join your email list, they need to receive something in return. Just asking someone to subscribe when they are most likely, like me, bogged down with enough emails they can't read, is not going to work. If you would like a reader to come back or add your blog to their favorites, wouldn't you have to provide value? Again, you need to give them useful information that will help them save time or increase their sales.
Here are 5 ways you can be adding value for your blog readers.
If you are in sales, don't just blog about your daily life. Although some may be interested, it doesn't add value. Tell them how to set up a blog, what sources have worked for you, review an affiliate program and give your honest opinion based on your research . This is value.
Give away courses you have access to for free
Offer them a free course if they sign up their email address. Make sure to mention that you are not a fan of spam and their email will not be sold to anyone else.
Create your own course or ebook you can offer for free
Add this to your header or sidebar with a capture page. The capture page will ask for their email address and in return they are able to access your free ebook or courses.
Ads in your sidebar
Most of my ads, give free information, not just a sale. I only promote ads that I use myself and find useful. I will not (and neither should you) promote an ad that I have not used or find beneficial just to receive affiliate income.
