Want to have an efficient work area Here s how

Everyone wants to be productive at work. But whether you do your business in an office or at home, itâs not just hard work which will make you efficient. A few hacks can increase your productivity and efficient.
Foldable furniture. If you are just a startup and have small space, or itâs a home space, you may want to have a foldable furniture. Itâs as effective as usual furniture, but can be set aside when not in use. Pretty practical. However, these are not easily available. But if you are fortunate enough to find some, itâs a great buy.
Function over fashion? Tough question for some. Others would say âfunctionâ since after all, itâs an office. Some will say âfashionâ since you need some inspiration for work. Why canât you have both? Wouldnât that be more productive? In some stores, like Laura Ashley, you can buy office equipment and accessories which are both trendy and functional. At the same time, they are space-saving. So there, why choose when you can have the best of both worlds.
Green up. According to research, men had 30 percent more ideas if they had a working environment with plants. Thatâs a good reason to green up your office or your desk. A small plant can make a lot of difference. Afraid it might die if youâre too busy to take care of it? Try a succulent. Even if you water it once a week, it will survive and bloom. Plants are not allowed in your office? Itâs okay. The same research says that pictures of nature also has the same effect. So itâs not weird that your officemate has pictures of kids and you have frames of trees and cats lounging on a meadow.
Dim it down. All that fluorescent light can strain your eyes. It can be exhausting. Since you canât wear sunglasses at work, switch off some artificial light and adjust the blinds. Exposure to natural sunlight can energize you. According to studies, people are less susceptible to stress if they are exposed to natural light.
Adjust to the culture. Every office has a corporate culture. Be sure to arrange your workspace based on that culture, but at a higher notch so you can stand out. So if you work in a toy company, you should understand that you got to be a bit more playful. Put some cool stuff on your desk.
Donât clutter your desk. I know, a cluttered desk looks like you are busy. But would you rather be busy and organized or confused? A decluttered desk means an efficient desk. So you are more productive. Plus your boss will be amazed how you everything in check while begin so clean. Yes, thatâs the time to ask for a raise.
