Butter cookies are not just healthy they re tasty too

It is extremely important to stay healthy and fit considering the rampant diseases spreading throughout the population. Healthy life means healthy diet which includes healthy snacks like butter cookies. Also, preparing such tasty and healthy treats is super easy and fun.

A healthy and tasty diet is very important to ensure a happy and disease free life. A healthy diet should be included not only in your regular meals but also in your snacks. And healthy snacks if made tasty work wonders too. So the best way towards health is probably learning some simple butter cookies recipes. The prerequisites for making such amazingly tasty and healthy snacks include â butter, sugar, flour, eggs, salt and vanilla extract.

The initial steps of butter cookies recipes include creaming together the butter and white sugar until the mix is fluffy enough. The egg is then beat with vanilla stirred in. Then into the mixture goes flour and salt and the entire dough is well combined. The dough is left to be chilled for an hour and then they are cut into the shape of cookies. They are then baked in a preheated oven for 8 â 10 minutes. Then they are taken out to enjoy the tasty treat.

Healthy snacks also include the ones containing large amounts of omega 3 fatty acids which help reducing chances of heart diseases. It is essential to consume snacks that fall well below 200 calories if you wish to stay healthy and fit. Pistachios, nuts, walnut, frozen grapes, celery, almonds, dried plum, edamame etc. are some of the healthy snacks that one can consume since they have beneficial effects they have on the body.

Apart from eating healthy, one should also exercise regularly â take a walk or yoga or other body exertions to stay fit and healthy and to have low levels of bad cholesterol in blood.

A healthy margarine by the commercial name of Nutralite has proven to be an amazing component of a healthy snack and go really well with the tasty butter cookies. It is rich in MUFA and PUFA which are beneficial fatty acids and work to decrease levels of âbad cholesterolâ or LDL in the blood thus decreasing the risk of heart diseases.
