Small Beautiful Creatures That Gives Most People Goosebumps

If there is one animal that is widespread in North America, it is the Deer Mouse. It is smaller in comparison to others like house mice and lab rats, but they have larger eyes. The have a dark color, and the underside belly and feet are usually white. Even though they are popular, you will rarely sport one. This is because they are nocturnal animals. They spend most of their days in burrows and trees. They live a very interesting organized life. Deer Mouse has home ranges that do not overlap, and if it so happens, they do, there is a higher chance that is of opposite sex.

Interaction with Others

They interact with each other in the way you would think they are having a chat. Kids like to keep deer mice as pets. Although they are known as a carrier of a deadly disease, their white body gives the impression of how clean and pleasant animals they are. Deer mice breed in the coldest and wettest weather, meaning spring and winter. Sometimes they live on their own but in most cases, you will find a male and a female nesting together. Staying together helps to make the nest warm.

Feeding your Deer Mouse is not a thing to worry about. They are omnivorous, which means they can eat fruits, leaves, seed, beetles, locusts, and many others. How it feed depends with type of season. During spring, it will eat more of vegetation and during winter more of arthropods. You will have to monitor your deer mice carefully while keeping it as a pet. Another beautiful crawling animal is the blue tarantula spider. It is among the rarest tarantula species. They are indigenous to the rain forest of South-East Asia. Found in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Rare Species

From a far, the cobalt blue tarantula spider appears to be black but when you get closer to it, the blue color becomes clear. It is quite magnificent to look at. The Blue tarantula spider is very aggressive. It has fangs, which it uses to attack an enemy. The bite is quite painful, but it is not fatal to humans. It acts as deterrence and uses the opportunity to escape from harm. That is the only defense mechanism it has. Rarely will you spot a cobalt blue tarantula during the day, it is a nocturnal creature. This is the perfect chance for it to feed.

Blue tarantula spider lives in burrows underground. This is where it spends most of its day. They dig the burrows themselves but at times, they move into ones, which other creatures created. As mentioned earlier about the nocturnal activities of the tarantula, males look for females at night and mate in the in the dark. They feed on insects, mice, and amphibians. They first inject their venom into a prey paralyzing it then drags them back into the burrow. This is quite a fascinating creature and should have a closer look at one.
