Self Help Private Label Rights The Market Is Growing

Here's a wonderful thing about the internet; information is bought and sold in abundance. Stock information, informational software and information on how to build a birdhouse- you name it, you can probably find it. For the internet entrepreneur this leaves one with an interesting problem; what do you sell next? Self help private label rights should be your direction.

Information, information, information - those are the three biggest sellers on the internet followed by consumer goods, software and video games. Selling of eBooks is a solid choice over the sale of consumer goods for the simple fact that there are no affiliations to be dealt with on the level that the "big boys" want to get caught up in. In an affiliation the small business owner will often advertise for a larger company and receive some form of compensation (yes, usually money) if a sale is made. Often a large portion of the legwork is done by the affiliate member and in return they see marginal profits.

The only way to circumvent these propositions is to buy and sell direct. Whole basements and barns have been filled with stock by people who have gone this route and basically these entrepreneurs have become mail clerks- receiving and shipping goods more than anything else. It's not a very efficient way to earn money.

With both of these propositions the key is finding products that are relevant or "hot topics" and marketing them accordingly. Another downside is of course, the continued research involved takes away from time that could be spent building your business- it is very much a two steps forward/one step back proposition.

Selling software for a third party also has its ups and downs. Again, you're looking at research into finding what people want to buy. Unfortunately, the same parameters as what's hot in consumer goods applies- only the pace is faster. Software changes daily. So you might have the latest greatest widget on the planet, marketing it will be tough as tomorrow something better just might come out and you are no longer the dealer of the newest whozit on the planet.

Ebooks and information is exactly where things are at as far as marketing goes, especially buying private label right products. The business is gearing up in ways no one ever thought of. Amazon and others are now offering online bookstores for downloading more books than ever before and even print publishers are dipping their toes in the water. What does this mean to you? Simply that with a little research you can not only beat them to the punch, but thanks to the internet, once they've arrived at the fight, size doesn't matter.

Publishing books takes a lot of money when done in print. No small business could ever hope to compete with the large publishing firms. But taking away that one major cost evens the playing field. Now sales are all about information and advertising, two things that can be done from the kitchen table on the internet. What's a good niche though? After doing some research I have found that the self help phenomena is still a thriving and booming industry with more and more people searching for answers- information on a daily basis. After doing a bit of keyword research I found that there were over 13 million searches for the word depression last month alone. There were also 7.5 million returns on anxiety and 3 million on the phrase mental health. That is just in one sector- without even touching physical health tips and weight loss. People are starving for this information.

Economic downturn, an increase in obesity levels and a rise in depression and anxiety related to both of these factors have led an entire populace of people looking for answers, and self help books provide these. A good example would be this article and the people who read it. I'm not saying that you have any of these problems on any level- you could be well off financially and have the health of a marathon runner- but you are looking for something. Most people are. Self help books provide a very real and very much needed service.
